At just 20 years old, Benito Ortiz stepped away from the clock-punching routine and made a decision that would change the trajectory of his life. He invested over $6,000 in professional training at the Polish and Punish Academy in Seattle, Washington, spending five full days learning under Jonathan Monson, owner of D2D Detailing in Auburn and one of the most respected names in the detailing industry. That training covered not just hands-on detailing techniques, but also standard operating procedures, business systems, and marketing, giving Benito the foundation to build something that truly lasts.
The education did not stop there. Benito returned for a second training event, deepening his skills and expanding a network of professional connections that continue to shape how Ortiz Auto Detailing operates today. He then took that investment and put it to work, building his own fully outfitted mobile detailing van from scratch, complete with a generator, pressure washer, air compressor, and water supply, bringing shop-quality results directly to his clients. For our more top-end services such as ceramic coating and paint correction, we also have a dedicated shop where we can give your vehicle the controlled environment and attention it deserves.
